To secure a booking, you (1) must complete the Wedding Reservation Form, indicating that you have read, understood, and agree to the T&Cs and (2) pay a $2,000 deposit. Once paid, the deposit is not refundable under any circumstance. If the deposit is not paid by the invoice due date, Grove Estate reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Our pricing is seasonal (September - May) and may increase each season. Clients are liable for the prices that are applicable to the season their wedding falls in. Grove Estate reserves the right to change it’s packages and increase pricing in line with inflation of associated cost and other business needs.

To ensure your wedding is viable at Grove Estate, we have minimum guest & spend requirements.

Minimum guests required for Friday, Saturday or Sunday is 60 adults.

Minimum guests required for Monday - Thursday is 30 adults.

If the final headcount is short at 1-month prior, a package upgrade to the value of $50 per missing guest will be required (e.g., cocktails).

Venue Hire at Grove Estate for weddings is $3,000.

Reduced rates may apply for midweek and off-peak season weddings, which will be confirmed in writing upon booking.

The duration of your venue hire is approximately 6.5 hours from guest arrival time. Your exclusive access to the grounds and venue commences from 4.30 pm.

Bump-in time for set-up is 10.00 am on the day and bump-out is by 10.00 am the next day. Depending on bookings, Grove Estate may be able to provide further flexibility with bump-in and bump-out times.

Final guest numbers, packages, menu selections, dietary requirements and all other event details must be finalised 28 days prior to the event. Reduction to guests numbers or package downgrades will not be refunded after the final invoice has been paid. Additional consultation & administration charges may apply to any event changes that occur after this period.

30% of the overall cost is due 6-month prior, 30% is due 3-months prior and the balance is due 21 days prior. Any payments made are not refundable.

If the event is cancelled by the client, funds paid are not refundable under any circumstances. If the event cannot proceed due to government restrictions, partner separation or partner illness, paid funds can be reallocated towards another event rescheduled within 6 months of the original booking.

The clients are financially responsible for any damages or losses to Grove Estate’s property that are caused by the client, their guests or vendors. Clients will be automatically charged for confirmed losses and damages. Grove Estate is not responsible for any damages or losses to property that is brought to Grove Estate by the clients, their guests or vendors.

Menus

Grove Estate’s food and beverage menus are subject to change due to the cost and availability of products. Grove Estate reserves the right to change it’s food and beverage menus and pricing at any time for other business needs.

External Catering

Grove Estate charges $1,000 to the client for use of an external caterer.

Grove Estate accepts no responsibility or financial liability for the delivery of food services from external catering companies. Grove Estate may provide FOH services for the catering company if formally agreed to and arranged in writing.

Beverage

For efficient service, weddings are required to select a beverage package or bar tab. Pay-as-you-go is unavailable.

BYO Beverage Policy

With approval from Grove Estate, event organisers may bring up to 3 types of beverages not sold by Grove Estate (not straight spirits or liquors). Beverages must be new, commercially bought in Australia with receipt, in approx. 375ml cans/bottles, pre-approved, and provided the week prior to the wedding.

Limited BYO bottled/canned beverages are permitted on the premium package at no charge.

On a tab, limited BYO beverages are permitted for the current BYO per beverage fee, charged at drop-off, regardless of consumption on the day.

Grove Estate will store and serve under RSA laws but is not liable for loss or damages. Leftovers cannot be collected the night of the event (RSA requirement).

Limited quantities of sentimental, traditional or cultural bottle of spirits or wine are permitted for a corkage fee.

Grove Estate may require external security for certain events. If security is deemed necessary, the cost will be invoiced to the client at cost price. Grove Estate generally endeavours to confirm security requirements at the time of booking; however, reserves the right to engage external security at any stage, at the client’s expense, if management considers it necessary.

Weddings held on public holidays will incur a 20% surcharge.

Clients and their guests must comply to all applicable laws and Grove Estate policies such as House Policy, RSA and closure times. Failure to do so may result in event cancellation, removal from premises or surcharges invoiced to client.

Children and under 18s are most welcome. As Grove Estate is a licenced venue, please ensure children are supervised by their legal parent or guardian.
