The extraordinary partnership of viticulturalist Brian Mullany with winemakers Richard Parker and Tim Kirk has resulted in a run of notable wines that have produced exciting results at many Wine Shows across Australia. All told over the last ten years, Grove Estate have won over 170 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for wines across the entire range. We are very happy with these achievements and keen to repeat them.

In the words of winemaker Tim Kirk of Clonkilla fame: "The Grove Estate fruit is fantastic, it's not difficult to make really good wine when you're dealing with such terrific raw materials. The Hilltops district is now really hitting its straps as a producer of wines with real flavour and the elegant dimension that a cooler climate provides."

Two Trophies were awarded to the 2004 Cellar Block Shiraz at the Sydney International Wine Show 2006 for the 'Best Red Wine' and the 'Best Medium Bodied Red Wine'. These awards have been followed up with a Gold Medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards in London in July 2008 for the 2006 Cellar Block Shiraz Viognier and the Top Gold Medal in its class at the 2007 Royal Adelaide Wine Show. The 2007 Cellar Block Shiraz Viognier has also achieved 94 points in Nick Stock's Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2009.
